Why study Mathematics and Finance? (Honors)
This program is designed to provide a strong education in the areas of mathematics, finance, economics and actuarial science. Graduates of our program can apply mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze financial products and manage financial risk.
This program can also be taken as part of a BSc with Specialization degree.
Why take the BSc Specialization degree?
The Bachelor of Science Specialization degree provides a focused education in one program. You will take most of your courses in your main subject area, and are expected to maintain a higher standard of academic achievement. A Specialization degree can provide the background to help you proceed to a higher degree, but its primary function is to provide a comprehensive education at the undergraduate level.
This program can also be taken as part of a BSc Specialization degree.

Preprofessional Study Time: 1 year
For 2nd year entry: at least ★24 (★ = units of course weight) required in the preceding Fall/Winter
For 3rd year entry: ★60 required.
Admission Selection: Competitive. Completion of a minimum of ★24 in each preceding Fall/Winter with a GPA of at least 3.0, plus a minimum GPA of 3.0 on the required courses.
